I’m currently reading–simultaneously–the works of Leo Tolstoy and G.K. Chesterton.  They come from very different views on Christianity.  The two works of Tolstoy (author of War & Peace, which I am definitely not going to waste time reading) that I am reading are ‘What I Believe’, and ‘The Kingdom of God is Within You’, the latter of which inspired Ghandi to use non-violent resistance in his struggle for Indian independence, as well as Martin Luther King, Jr. for his similar methods in his fight for Civil Rights.  The works are both very compelling, though not airtight, arguments for pacifism.  I’m giving it some thought.
